It’s November 3rd

I’m not quite sure how it got to be November 3rd already.

I’d swear that I was slathered in delicious smelling suntan lotion, reading my Real Simple magazine while lounging at the pool on a blazing hot July day just yesterday.

Now I find myself wrapped in warm sweaters, craving glorious wholesome hearty food and curled up on my couch by 7 p.m. (in my jammies mind you) reading my Real Simple magazine by candlelight.

I’m always a bit apprehensive and nostalgic as one season magically transforms into another. I seem to think that I’m not ready somehow.

But then before I know it, I’m enthralled with the beauty and majesty that has unfolded before me.

I’m mesmerized by the delicious golden light of an Autumn morning after a refreshing rain.

I am thankful for the abundant harvest that has blossomed from tiny buds…and then grew…into glorious fruits.

And I am most thankful that the seasons remind me of how mysterious and delicate life is.

How the seasons seem to reflect life.

How there’s a time for everything and everything in its’ own time…

And I find myself thankful.

  1. I love the way the apples look. So gorgeous just the way they are. I am a huge fan of Fall. I used to live in CA but then got whisked away by hubby to MI and was overwhelmed at the beauty of the changing of seasons. Fall was my favorite. All the leaves turning, the fresh and abundant apples, that wonderful crispness in the air, and of course…can’t forget…what a great opportunity to start buying really cute Fall accessories like boots, coats, scarves, mittens….I could go on and on. 😛

  2. If you ever get sick of that dresser, I’d love to take it off of your hands!! 😉 Beautiful pictures and I totally agree with every word.
